Subject: HAROLD
Hey All: We started our first day back at the WDM in a park some distance away. I wanted the team to have a discussion with Josh on camera, but away from Harold. Tom was also there. They filled Josh in on what’s happened since they last saw him and asked permission to go back to the museum and seek out Harold.
This was the first time (on-camera) that Tom was aware the guys had gone back into the WDM, after the ceremony for Daniel, in the first episode. So I shot a scene with him driving to the WDM and talking to us about the fact that he was surprised (maybe a little disappointed) that Bill and Jeff and Josh had gone back into the WDM and stirred up a new spirit. He also said that they needed to cleanse their tools before leaving this time.
We shot a lot of BRoll after arriving at the WDM and a few pick-ups for the first WDM episode. Then we got down to business. Harold showed up on cue and had a very engaging running dialogue with the team via the K2 meter. Ultimately he wanted them all to go to the Wardrobe Room. We cut there and the team met outside. We shot them having a long and rousing discussion/debate about what to do. Some didn’t want to go anywhere near the Wardrobe Room. Harold was bullying them and no one had any idea how far he might take it. It was finally decided they would go as a full team but would do so with the lights on.
Even with the lights on, Harold showed up and then tried to get half the team and part of the crew to leave. We did not comply. There was no way the team was going to be broken up and therefore weakened. The night went on with Harold being belligerent so we cut off the dialogue with him and backed out to re-group today.
I had trouble sleeping and by sunrise was determined to propose we go back in, engage Harold on the K2 and do the opposite of what people with such devices should do–simply shut it off in mid conversation. My thought is this will further tie Harold to the meter. From there we offer the museum two choices–one is that they keep the K2. In 50 or 100 years, it will be an important artifact. Or we remove it and destroy it in a ceremonial fire, lead by Tom. We simply do not have the time and tools and ability (nor can we skirt museum regulations about smoke or fire) to hang in there with Harold and ultimately, possibly send him on his way. Though he claimed he wanted to kill some of us last night, he has been not much more than a bully and blowhard.
I am meeting with the team later today to make this proposal to them. Maybe someone will have a better idea.
Rob

What a crazy, groundbreaking end to this story.
Priscilla met with Josh who said they had no info on a Harold, or someone named Rob H.–a name which had come to Jeff in a dream last night. Harold had said in the dream that his name was Rob and that he wanted to talk to Jeff at 12:13am. That he had a request and would promise to leave us alone. I was anxious that we get out of this situation with everyone intact and an ending of some kind. It was decided that Jeff and Bill would meet up with Harold/Rob and talk for one hour. Then Jeff was going to seal the K2 this spirit was attached to in a jar with salt and wax. We shot the team (and Tom) presenting all this to Josh.
Bill and Jeff went to work an hour before the appointed time. They got no response except that Rob confirmed they had to wait till 12:13. So at the appointed hour they tried again and bingo, the discussion was on. Through a long series of questions and responses–they got that Rob was Robert Hanbidge. He was from Ontario but had lived in Saskatchewan. He wanted them to take something from the museum to Kerrobert. They said they couldn’t do that. He said he died in his 80’s and that he was born in the 1890’s. He said that he had died in Ontario and that his spirit had followed an investigator from there to here and that he was happy but unable to leave.
Hold on to your seats–while this was going on, one of the museum staff sitting by our monitors Googled the name. Robert Hanbidge was born in Ontario, came to Sask, was Mayor of Kerrobert in 1920 and went on to become the Lt. Govenor of Saskatchewan. There was an investigation that started at the WDM in 2009/2010. Josh and Jan from the museum went to Ontario to a paranormal conference and returned here to start an investigation.
The guys made paranormal history I think with the vivid detail they extracted with a K2 meter.
We shot the ceremony with the K2 being sealed up, as Robert said good-bye on good terms and Jeff felt the meter had become special to him.
How we get all this in without it being a one-hour episode–I have no idea. But it was an incredible series of events.
